Horse Crazy Farm Girls Camp

Have your daughter spend time with us, this summer, on our beautiful 60 acre horse farm for an experience she will always remember. Phoenix Rising Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)(3) created to help horses and girls learn and grow together. 

Our goal is to educate and empower girls through interaction with our rescue horses so they can become confident, compassionate and curious young women.  We believe horses can teach us so much about ourselves, our relationships and how we relate to the world around us.  Working with another living being creates opportunities for learning about relationships, communication, teamwork, and self awareness. In a very real way, our patient and generous school horses share more than just a riding lesson with the girls. They help teach them real life skills.   Program size is limited to 10 girls per session, to maximize horse time and to allow for more personalized instructor/student interaction. 

New this year, the girls will participate in empowering Girls Circle facilitated, age appropriate, guided conversations during the lunch hour with one of our four certified facilitators. (www.girlscircle.com).

Each day will bring new adventures:

1. •Horse riding – English, Western & Bareback
   

2. •Learning the basics of horsemanship
   

3. •Feeding and caring for the horses
   

4. •Learning horse communication skills
   

5. •Natural horsemanship skills
   

6. •Understanding and caring for tack and equipment
   

7. •A, B, C’s of horse health
   

8. •Girl’s Circle (self esteem & empowerment activities)
   

Special guests instructors each week:

Animal communicator, Farrier, Vet, Horse Trainer, Olympic level rider, Nutritionist and more. 

We firmly believe there is more to life than TV, computers, text messaging, face booking, gossiping on the phone or hanging out at the mall. Those things may have a place in life, we simply promote stepping away from it all; to have a fun, healthy, active  horse farm experience. We hope your daughter can join us.

Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm

Phoenix Rising Sanctuary is a Washington State non-profit with 501(C) (3) status. We offer our girls programs at these affordable rates to encourage those girls who normally would not be able to have access to horses, or a farm experience.
